Welcome Aaron Turpin!

The CRUISElab would like to welcome Aaron Turpin to the team!

Aaron Turpin is a third year PhD student at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work. His research focuses on understanding the role of social entrepreneurship in supporting social service organizations in the nonprofit sector. Relatedly, Aaron has four years of experience partnering with various community-based nonprofits in a program evaluation and development capacity, and an additional five years working in frontline positions for many similar organizations. A growing number of diverse collaborative experiences inform Aaron’s ongoing contributions to professional and academic scholarship and pedagogy, as well as directly with service providers in the field. Aaron is a recipient of the SSHRC and OGS doctoral awards, and is honoured to have received generous support from various other academic and non-academic bodies.
